17 Months

What I am up to these days.

Well now that I am 17 months, I know that I am able to do everything on my own. I like to test my Mom to see what she will do if I try and hit her. She always tells me no, which I have found to be a funny thing and love to tell her that back all the time.

I love to watch my Mom who has for some reason gained some weight the past 7 months. She isn't as fast as she used to be and I enjoy trying to watch her chase after me.

She likes to bring this lady around with her all the time who they call Nanny. My Mom says she is her life saver. I like to test Nannies patience out too and see if she still thinks I'm cute when I pull her hair when we are in the store or pinch her face. It's crazy I keep doing it and she still tells me she loves me!

I also like to make her chase after me since my Mom is slow these days. You should see this, it's pretty funny!

My Mom always says it's a good thing that I am cute because I sure like to give her a hard time.

I also hear that I have a new name and it's Big Brother. I'm not really sure what that means yet but I have a feeling that something strange is going on. My Mom keeps trying on these silly hats and bows on me and laughing. I can't wait to see what all this is about.

Although I can be a bad boy sometimes I know my Mom and Dad love me so much and would do anything for me. They say they can't believe how big I am now and how I have become such a fun kid to be around. I have to say that even though I can be a handful at times I love them too!

Missing in Action

I know I haven't posted in awhile I've been super busy lately. I'm assuming once the new baby comes along I probably wont ever blog. haha Aven has reached his early terrible twos and it is not pretty. He has started hitting and pinching. It is becoming really embarrassing. I am only hoping this is a phase. Everyone wonders why I haven't gained 40 lbs like I did with Aven, if you spend 5 minutes with me you can understand why. :) Although with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up and all the good food I will be right up to where I was with him. ha

As some of you know my sister and her family are going to be traveling the United States and are leaving this morning. We went over on Saturday to my Moms and I helped watch the kids and spend some time with them before they left. It was super hard to say goodbye knowing I wont see them till probably sometime this summer and to think that my baby will be almost 6 months! I do have to give my sister credit though cause I could not do what she's doing. I'm pretty sure if it was our family I would be having to drop Aven and Johnny off somewhere along the way. :) We will miss them!

Halloween 09

I always think that it will be so fun to dress up every year especially since Aven is still little and I can still get away with a family theme. I always think that until the day of Halloween comes and I realize how stupid I turn out looking. At least I can look back and know I did it all for the sake of my kids and to make it fun for them. :)

We got to see a firework show at the church which if you can't tell by the look on Aven's face he loved it!

Aven had alot of fun eating candy and helping Mommy eat all the food she had to get :)

27 Weeks

Sorry haven't updated much lately. My father in law is in from out of town this week so we've been pretty busy. I started working part time from home which I am liking alot more. I've found I can get alot more done around the house. Today I am 27 weeks pregnant. I can't believe how fast time is flying by. I'm hoping to get some maternity pictures with my face actually in the picture but the way I look today I am sparing you.

27 Weeks Pregnant

I even had enough spare time to try out some sewing. I've been saying since I found out I was having a girl I needed to learn to sew and start making her stuff. This is my attempt at making a dress. It's not all that great but I'm learning. I might actually start getting better in time to make her prom dress. HA yeah right.
